Let’s break down the main advantages:
Cash back in categories you choose
You earn 2% cash back on purchases in two categories of your choice, such as groceries, restaurants, gas, drug stores, recurring bill payments, hotels and motels, public transportation and parking, and more. All other purchases earn 0.5% cash back, with no limit on how much you can earn.
You can choose a third 2% category if you have your cash back deposited automatically into a Tangerine Savings Account.
No annual fee
The card has no annual fee, so you can earn cash back without paying a yearly cost.
Free additional cards
You can add up to 5 authorized users at no cost. Their purchases also earn cash back for your account.

The card includes Purchase Assurance, which covers most new items against loss, theft or damage for 90 days, and Extended Warranty, which may double the manufacturer’s warranty for up to one additional year. The lifetime maximum for these two coverages is $60,000.
It also includes Mobile Device Insurance of up to $1,000 and Rental Car Collision/Loss Damage Insurance for rentals of up to 31 consecutive days. Coverage is subject to the terms, limits and exclusions in the Certificate of Insurance.
